This is from the heart of an unknown author ...When I meditated on the word Guidance, I kept seeing “dance” at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God’s will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn’t flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky. When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or another. It’s as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance. When I saw “G: I thought of God, followed by “u” and “i”. “God, “u” and “i” dance.” God, you, and I dance. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God’s blessings and mercies be upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God as God abides in you. Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life.
My prayer for you today is that God’s blessings and mercies be upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God as God abides in you. Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life.
And I hope you dance!

My daughter's first job out of college was teaching Engliish to Japanese students on the northern island of Japan. She spent three years, and celebrated Christimas by herself, complete with lights and the singing of a whole book of Christmas hymns. When I asked her where she got the strength to deal with a different culture at such a young age and for so long, she said she remembered the church song,
THE LORD of the DANCE. ........~ ~~ ~..~ ~....~ ~~

I AM the LORD of the dance says HE" !!!!
Look up the words.....
It is a GOOD song to remember!!!! :-)
that story made me cry!
I hope they were tears of joy. She has a strong faith.....thanks be to GOD......literally!! When she was in Jr. High, she rebelled at going to church. I would harrass her and tell her she must! One day, she asked me, "WHY!?????"
I replied, "To show God we hove HIM!" ............
I stopped and immediately thought that I was NOT displaying the Love of GOD! So, I said, "OK, God, she is yours: YOU lead her!" AND HE DID!!!! :-):-)... Read More
OH, back to her solo Christmas in Japan, she videoed herself singing songs and opening the presents we had sent. Her favorite GIFT that year was a box of KRAFT macaroni and cheese.......................which was NOT available in Ikutahara, Hokkiado, Japan
they were tears of joy and admiration for your daughter's faith and her joy. She kept that joy even though she was celebrating alone. I could see my daughter doing that too!
